      The Professional Teacher Supervisor is one who observes the learning process of the school . It evaluates the performance of the divisions under his supervision , mainly in the form of application of the methodologies chosen by the teacher to the process of learning these classes . It is the Supervisory Teacher guidance on the teaching of the learning process . Promoting dialogue with teachers to clarify doubts and questions about the pedagogical theories and their importance to teaching , giving options to teachers in the form of transmitting the program content .
    When one thinks of the Supervisory Teacher Educational functions have to reconcile schedules with the needs of the teachers of the courses that they are part and amount of prescribed lessons on the syllabus of the course , semester or school year. Applying School Rules , the National Curriculum , the National Council of Education and the Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education ( LDBEN 9394/96 ) . Preparing lectures , seminars , study groups pedagogical courses , with the purpose of providing continuing education for teachers . Develop in conjunction with other Professionals School Unit and representatives of the students and community, the Educational Policy Project Institution School . Be the mediator between the Director and Faculty , indicating possible solutions to the problems that may arise regarding the learning classes . Conducting the Class Council whenever requested by listening to class representatives about the difficulties in school life in interpersonal relationships among learners and those with their teachers , in teaching practices . Also listening to teachers about the behavior of the classes they teach , the performance of learners in school practices , the frequency on recovery strategies of students who have difficulties to follow the disciplines .
      Note that it is not enough to just be encyclopedic learning , traditional , formal , based only on theories . Supervisor directs that learning is emancipatory , and therefore more comprehensive , take into account the knowledge that the student already has ( hidden curriculum ) , that is meaningful , inclusive , and has to do with the current context . The teacher can provide practical activities that relate to the play when they finish school . Professor Supervisor should guide where necessary , how to approach and communicate knowledge . Making learners to be curious and stimulated to seek increasingly knowledge relevant to their practice . The teacher will be the facilitator of student learning , encouraging them to search on your doubts and questioning if they persist .
    Finally , the Supervisory Teachers Education , along with the Guiding Teacher Education , Educational Coordinator , the Director , are employees from both pedagogical as school management along with the teachers and the community . Mathematically we can say that the Supervisor acts as equalizer of learning processes among faculty members and students seeking to dialogue provide an emancipatory learning .
