REPORT ON THE MOVIE JUSTICE RED AND COMMON LAW.
This is a thriller that highlights how to do justice in a country with another regime, with its limitations on the rights of people in favor of the totalitarian state, called People's Republic of China.
Starring Richard Gere, who is part of a successful American lawyer who goes to China for a business of billions of dollars on satellite communication. But to spend a night with a local model, by the way very nice, gets caught up in a web of murder and rape with all the incriminating evidence. The worst is that the model is a general's daughter from China's armed forces that want him dead anyway!!
Found at the crime scene, unconscious, drunk had found that, with the victim's blood in the body, was caught by surprise, police accused China of rape and murder, and in China, human rights are suppressed by the state's interest individual liberty and minimal exemplary punishment but without much calculation and chance of defense for the accused. When I heard the prosecution wanted to defend with counsel of his country, only in China does not allow lawyers from other countries, besides having a separate regime, with strict laws and tough chances of defense for those who commit crimes.
In China, if the person says guilty, has a rapid death depending on the crime committed, and even the value of the bullet is charged to compensate relatives of the State.

However, because it is foreign, American, and powerful, he was given a good lawyer who knew enforce sue letter, even contradicting the initial provisions of their country, those governing and politics with foreigners, ventured by truth. And with efforts to prove the innocence of the defendant, even in a very closed system that is Chinese.
