The importance of the psychoanalytic theory of Sigmund Freud for the formation of the educational psychologist .





                   It is essential for the professional educational psychologist expert knowledge of the basis of psychoanalytic theory , which is the main theoretical Sigmund Freud . The study of Psyche ( soul ) , the concepts of ego , id and superego , studies of human behavior , such as depression , paranoia , fantasy , hysteria , exhibitionism , narcissism , anxiety , affects and emotions , envy , guilt among others .

                   The human being is unique , multifaceted , and may have one or more of the behaviors listed in the previous paragraph . We can still talk about mental illness , from mild to the most complex manifestations that often lead to a disability for deep learning .

                  It must also be the importance of learning and their way of approach for those who have special needs such as those with Down syndrome , Asperger's syndrome , hearing problems , vision . Those with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD ) , attention deficit disorder with hyperactivity ( ADHD ) , other disorders , phobias , guilt complexes , traumas , repressions , finally a number of possibilities that may delay , hinder the process teaching and learning .

                So the more knowledge in the field of psychoanalysis , the educational psychologist have more tools to guide parents or guardians to seek help from other professionals who may be a psychologist , psychiatrist , speech therapist , physiotherapist or a specialized institution for the type of difficulty presented by the learner and observed by educational psychologist . The psychopedagogists like any other professional is not the owner of the truth , he will not be claiming diagnoses this or that problem . He suggests , guides , outlines learning and directs the professional specific area in order to get a more accurate diagnosis , with which may assist in the formation of the learner .
