The Surprising Life of Jesus - English
The AMAZING LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ is not merely an important person who lived and died many years ago . According to the Bible , he is the Creator God , who lived on this earth as a man to spill his blood and give us life , rescuing this sinful humanity from the power of sin , Satan and death . He is alive today and gives eternal life to all who seek it.
Accept or reject Jesus Christ is a matter of life or death. He who has the Son has life: he that hath not the Son of God does not have life ( 1 John 5:12 ) . Neither is there salvation in any other: for under the whole heaven there is no other name given among men, whereby we must be saved ( Acts 4:12 ) .
God becomes very real for you to study the amazing life of Jesus Christ ! And eternal life is forestay that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent ( John 17:3 ) . Have you received Jesus into your heart as your personal Savior and Lord ? If not , do it today!

The PRE - EXISTENCE OF JESUS - 1
In the beginning was the Word , and the Word was with God , and the Word was God . He was in the beginning with God . All things were made through Him , and without Him nothing was made that was made . And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us , ... and we beheld his glory .... - John 1:1-3 , 14

Jesus DOWN FROM HEAVEN AND BECOMES A MAN - 3

Jesus was conceived supernaturally - 5
It was ... the angel Gabriel sent from God to a city of Galilee , named Nazareth , to a virgin betrothed to a man of the house of David , whose name was Joseph, the virgin 's name was Mary . But the angel said to her : Fear not, Mary : for thou hast found favor with God . Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son , and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High ; ... and his kingdom will never end . Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? Replied the angel come upon you the Holy Spirit and the power of the Most High will involve you with its shadow ; therefore also that holy thing which shall be born shall be called Son of God . - Luke 1:26 , 27 , 30-35

THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST - 6
... A decree from Caesar Augustus , calling the entire population of the empire to be enrolled was published .... All alistarse went, every one into his own city . Joseph also went ... to the city of ... Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David , to alistarse with Mary his espoused wife, being pregnant. While they were there , completing happened to him every day , and she gave birth to her firstborn son, swaddled him and laid him in a manger , because there was no place for them in the inn . Now there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field , keeping watch over their flock at night vigils . And an angel of the Lord came down where they were , and the glory of the Lord shone round about them : and they were struck with great fear . And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy , which shall be to all the people : to you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour , which is Christ the Lord .... WHEN JESUS BOY - 7
After eight days for the circumcision of the boy, gave him the name Jesus , as the angel called him , before being conceived. - Luke 2:21
There was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon, and this man was just and devout, awaiting the consolation of Israel : and the Holy Ghost was upon him . Revealed to him that the Holy Spirit would not by death before they see the Lord's Christ . Moved by the Spirit , was to the temple : and when the parents brought in the child Jesus , to do for him what the law commanded , Simeon took him in his arms and praised God , saying : Lord, now you can say goodbye in peace thy servant according to thy word: for mine eyes have seen thy salvation, which you prepared in the sight of all peoples , a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel . And they were the father and mother marveled that it was said the boy . Simeon blessed them .... - Luke 2:25-34
JESUS RECEIVES WORSHIP - 8
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king , behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem. And saying, Where is the newborn king of the Jews ? For we have seen his star in the east and have come to worship him .
Having heard this , was alarmed Herod the king , and with him all Jerusalem when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born . In Bethlehem of Judea , they replied , for thus it is written by the prophet .
After they had heard the king , they departed : and behold the star which they saw in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was . When they saw the star , they rejoiced with exceeding great joy .
Entering the house , they saw the child with Mary his mother. Fell down, and worshiped him: and opening their treasures, they presented gifts to Him offerings of gold, frankincense and myrrh . - Matthew 2:1-5 , 9-11
SATAN HATES JESUS FROM ETERNITY - 9
Also appeared another wonder in heaven , and behold a great red dragon, red [ Satan ] , having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads seven diadems . And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven , and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman who was to give birth , to devour her child when born. Born to him , therefore, a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron .... - Revelation 12:3-5
Appeared ... an angel of the Lord to Joseph in a dream and said, Arise, and take the young child and his mother , and flee into Egypt, and stay there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to kill.
Featuring up to him, took the night the boy and his mother and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod ....

CHILDHOOD OF JESUS - 10
The child grew and became strong , filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him . Now every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the Passover Feast . When he was twelve years old , they went up to Jerusalem .... When they returned, the child Jesus remained in Jerusalem .... Thinking , however, be it among fellow travelers were a day's journey , and then began looking for him among their relatives and acquaintances, and did not find him , they returned to Jerusalem to look for . After three days they found him in the temple, sitting among the teachers , listening to them and asking them questions . And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and his answers . As soon as his parents saw him , they were amazed : and his mother said unto him, Son , why hast thou thus dealt with us? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you . He answered them, that ye sought me ? Wist ye not that I must be about my Father's house ? And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and men . - Luke 2:40-49 , 52
JESUS IS PRESENTED PUBLICLY - 11
There was a man sent from God whose name was John So , he replied : I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness : Make straight the way of the Lord , as said the prophet Esaias .
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! And John bare record , saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove , and it abode upon him. I do not know Him , but He who sent me to baptize with water dis is me : Upon whom you see the Spirit come down and remain , this is he who baptizes with the Holy Spirit . For I, in fact , I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God . - John 1:6 , 23 , 29 , 32-34
Baptized , Jesus came up immediately from the water , and behold, the heavens were opened to Him , and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him . And lo a voice from heaven , saying, This is my beloved Son , in whom I am . - Matthew 3:16 , 17
JESUS WINS THE TEMPTATION - 12
And when the tempter came and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God , command that these stones become bread . But Jesus answered, It is written, Not by bread alone doth man live , but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God . Then the devil ... put him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God , cast thyself down , for it is written : give his angels charge over thee to keep thee . They shall bear thee up in their hands , not to stumble in some stone. Respondeulhe Jesus : It is written : You shall not tempt the Lord thy God . It took him even the devil to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory , and said to him: All these will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me . Then Jesus said unto him, Get thee hence , Satan , for it is written : The Lord , your God , worship , and him alone thou shalt worship. - Matthew 4:3-10
For in that He Himself has suffered , being tempted, He is able to succor them that are tempted . - Hebrews 2:18
JESUS CHOOSES HIS DISCIPLES - 13
Walking by the sea of Galilee , he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers . Jesus said unto them , Come ye after me, and I will make you fishers of men . And immediately they left their nets and followed him. Little farther, he saw James the son of Zebedee , and John his brother, who were in their boat mending the nets . And straightway he called them . Leaving them in the boat with Zebedee their father 's servants, and went after Jesus. - Mark 1:16-20
The next day , Jesus decided to go to Galilee , and found Philip , who said : Follow me . - John 1:43
As he passed by , he saw Levi the son of Alpheus , sitting at the receipt and said unto him, Follow me ! He got up and followed him . - Mark 2:14

JESUS NAILS THE GOOD NEWS - 14
So Jesus , in the power of the Spirit , returned to Galilee , and his fame went throughout all the region . And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
He came to Nazareth , where He had been entered , a Saturday, in the synagogue , as was his custom , and stood up to read . And they gave him the book of the prophet Isaiah , and , opening the book , he found the place where it was written : The Spirit of the Lord is upon me , because he hath anointed me to preach the poor ; has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind , to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord . Having closed the book , gave it back to the attendant and sat down , and all in the synagogue were fastened on him eyes . And He began to say to them : Today , the scripture was fulfilled that you just heard .
All bare him witness , and wondered at the gracious words that came from his lips .... - Luke 4:14-22
Jesus Cleansing the Temple - 15
And they came to Jerusalem . And he entered the temple , he began to cast out them that sold and bought overthrew the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of them that sold doves . Also taught them and said, Is it not written , My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations ? But you, you have turned into a den of robbers . - Mark 11:15 , 17
JESUS TEACHES ABOUT SIN
So you also outwardly appear righteous unto men , but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. - Matthew 23:28
But what comes out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile the man . Out of the heart proceed evil thoughts , murders, adulteries , fornications, thefts , false witness , blasphemies . - Matthew 15:18, 19
Jesus answered them , Verily , verily I say unto you , Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin . Therefore if the Son sets you free you are free indeed . - John 8:34 , 36
JESUS GIVES NEW LIFE - 16
To this Jesus answered , Verily , verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again he can not see the kingdom of God . Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again . For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:3 , 7 , 16
... I came that they may have life and have it abundantly . - John 10:10
And this is life eternal that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ , whom thou hast sent . - John 17:3
For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life , even so the Son gives life to whom He wishes . Verily , verily I say unto you , he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life , does not come into judgment , but has passed from death to life . - John 5:21 , 24
And so , if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold all things are become new . -2 Corinthians 5:17
JESUS PRESENTS AS THE SOURCE OF LIVING WATER - 17
Then he came to a Samaritan city called Sychar .... Tired from the journey , sat thus by the well Jesus .... Herein , a Samaritan woman came to draw water. Jesus saith unto her , Give me to drink . ... So the Samaritan woman said to him : How dost thou, being a Jew, ask a drink from me , a Samaritan woman ( For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans ) ? Jesus answered him : If you knew the gift of God and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, 'you would have asked him and he would give you living water . Jesus said to him : Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again , but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst; instead , the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life . - John 4:5-10 , 13 , 14
Jesus ... said ... If anyone is thirsty come to me and drink . He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said , out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water . This spake he of the Spirit which they should receive who believed in him . - John 7:37-39

Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended , the floods came , and the winds blew and beat upon that house , not fell , for it was founded upon a rock . What think you? If a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away , will he not leave the ninety-nine the hills , going to look for the one that wandered off ? JESUS TEACHES THE WAY TO A HAPPY LIFE - 19
And seeing the multitudes , he went up on the mountain ... and he began to teach them , saying : Blessed are the poor in spirit , for theirs is the kingdom of heaven . Blessed are those who mourn , for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth . Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy . Blessed are the pure in heart , for they shall see God. Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a publican . The Pharisee stood and prayed to himself even in this way : God, I thank Thee that I am not as other men are, extortioners , unjust, adulterers , or even like this tax- fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get . The tax collector , standing far , would not so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast , saying, God be merciful to me a sinner ! I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other .... - Luke 18:10-14
If ... two of you on earth agree concerning anything that they shall ask , it will be them by My Father who is in heaven . For where two or three are gathered together in my name , there am I in their midst . - Matthew 18:19 , 20

JESUS TEACHES ABOUT HEAVEN AND HELL - 22
Enter by the narrow gate ( the gate is wide and spacious, the path that leads to destruction , and many there be which go in thereat ) Because narrow is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life , and are few who find it . Not every one that saith unto me , Lord ! enter the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven . - Matthew 7:13 , 14 , 21
Except ye be converted ... and you do not become like children , you will never enter the kingdom of heaven . - Matthew 18:3
So will the end of the age : the angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the furnace of fire: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth . - Matthew 13:49 , 50

JESUS HAS POWER OVER DEMONS - 27
It was thought in their synagogue a spirit of a man of unclean devil , and cried aloud : Ah ! What have we to thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? You come to destroy us ? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God ! But Jesus rebuked him , saying, Hold thy peace , and come out of him . The devil , after having thrown him in their midst, it came out of him without doing him harm . And they were all amazed, and among themselves, saying : What is this word , for with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits , and they come out ? - Luke 4:33-36
When was approaching [ the boy ] , the demon threw him down and convulsed him but Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy and gave to his father . And they were all amazed at the majesty of God .... - Luke 9:42 , 43

JESUS HAS POWER OVER DEATH - 28
Then Jesus commanded : Take away the stone . Martha said to him , sister of the dead , Lord, now stinks because it is already four days . Jesus answered him : I did not tell you that if you believed , you would see the glory of God ... cried in loud voice, Lazarus , come forth! Behold ... a boss , came and worshiped him and said, My daughter is even now dead : but come and lay your hand on it , and live. But the people away , he went in and took the girl by the hand , and she stood up. - Matthew 9:18 , 25

And they gave him the book of the prophet Isaiah , and , opening the book , he found the place where it was written : The Spirit of the Lord is upon me , because he hath anointed me to preach the poor ; has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind , to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord . Having closed the book , gave it back to the attendant and sat down , and all in the synagogue were fastened on him eyes . And He began to say to them : Today , the scripture was fulfilled that you just heard .

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves and the two fishes , and looking up to heaven, he blessed them.
